Baby Loss - How We Can Help
At Towards Tomorrow Together, we offer a range of support services to help families navigate the difficult journey of pregnancy or baby loss. Once a referral is received, a gentle introduction and assessment will be carried out to find out more about you, and how you are feeling. This helps us to build a package of support, centred around you.

At The Time Of The Loss
When you receive the sad news that your baby may be unlikely to survive, or has died, we can provide support to help you understand, and plan the next steps. We can provide Doula assistance including birth & loss planning, virtual doula support or be with you as you prepare to meet your baby. We supply local hospitals with miscarriage at home kits, memory boxes, and keepsakes (or a memory box can be requested via this website). Our memory boxes include special keepsake making items such as hand and foot prints, teddies, and much more, as detailed on the resources page.
After Your Loss
Our caring and skilled therapists can provide a range of therapies, including grief listening, Occupational Therapy, holistic therapies, 3 Step Rewind, Emotional Freedom Technique, coaching and we can organise a peer supporter. All of these services can help ease the sadness and loneliness that this journey can bring, provide relief from anxiety, sadness, and flashbacks and a gentle, safe place for relaxation. When you feel ready, we run a very gentle support group once a month giving the opportunity to meet other parents who have lost a baby.
These services are available at any time after your loss, no matter how long ago it was. We are an inclusive charity, welcoming LGBT+ families. Please let us know of any physical, emotional or communication needs you may have and we will adapt our services as needed.

Concerns About Your Care
The loss of a baby is always difficult, but when you have been left with unanswered questions about things that happened in the lead up to their death, it can have an ongoing impact. There are several ways that you can find out more about what happened, and raise any concerns. This includes asking the hospital for a debrief, asking for a referral to the Maternity and Neonatal Independent Senior Advocate, contacting PALS with a complaint, or seeking a consultation and full legal investigation with a solicitor. You can find out more about this process below. To view each leaflet, please click on the top right corner of the documents. Alternatively, please contact us through 'Request for Support', and we can send you the leaflets via post.
