We are passionate about sharing parental stories of loss, to help to inspire change. We offer a range of different study days, which can all be adapted to suit the needs of you and your colleagues. We can arrange to deliver any of these study days in your area throughout the South West (or you can book a place on our upcoming events below). 

 

Baby Loss: A Parent's Perspective

This study day is most suitable for Midwives, Maternity Support Workers, Student Midwives, Doula's, Neonatal Nurses, Chaplains, A&E Nurses, Gynae Nurses, EPAC Nurses. It is a memorable day, which places the parent's journey at the centre of the training. Through a series of talks, personal stories, and interactive activities you will gain an understanding of the impact of pregnancy and baby loss. 

Pregnancy After Loss: A Parent's Perspective

This study day is most suitable for Labour Ward or Community Midwives, Maternity Support Workers, Student Midwives, Doula's, Neonatal Nurses, Chaplains, A&E Nurses, Gynae Nurses, EPAC Nurses, Antenatal Clinic Staff, Health Visitors. You'll pick up the parent's journey at the start of their Pregnancy After Loss, and learn about the challenges they face. You'll gain a valuable insight into the triggers, and how you can adapt your practice to accommodate. 

 

There is no charge for this training, however should a place be booked and that person doesn't attend, we will invoice the worker or organisation for a voluntary contribution of £25 towards the costs of providing the training and hospitality.  If you are based outside of the southwest of England, please contact us before booking to discuss your situation and whether there will be a small charge to attend.

 

Training by special arrangement

We are also able to arrange key note speeches, parent speakers, specific sessions such as memory making, and facilitate talks about the charity on your study days. We are happy to discuss fees for this.
